Is a public joint stock company registered in the Sultanate of Oman on 25th September 1995. The commercial production of the company began on the first of January 1998. The company aims to produce and distribute the finest and best quality wheat products. The company’s wheat products cover the Sultanate markets, some neighboring countries and the countries of the African Horn.

Organization Background

Salalah Mills Co. S.A.O.G. (SMC) was formally established on 25th September, 1995 with a capital investment of R.O. 6.0 Million (USD 15 Million) which includes equity shares worth 2.5 Million Omani Rials. Today the capital investment of the company is worth 31 Million Rial Omani (USD 77.5 Million). Salalah Mills Co. own four factories and offers a range of products for domestic as well as export market.

The company relies on the latest findings of the world in the field of technology and milling equipment manufactured by the Swiss company Buhler Inc., a global market leader in the supply of flour production plants and equipments in the world . Salalah Mills is a fully automated factory with PLC controlled systems to ensure the highest quality products, and also the most modern methods of packing mechanism which ensures the highest health standards . All these are possible only with a group of specialists and experts to achieve the highest levels of stable and quality products.
